Understanding the OTPDesk Refund Policy

At OTPDesk, we offer two core services: Activations (short-term 20-minute numbers) and Rentals (long-term numbers ranging from 24 hours to 8 weeks). Because OTP delivery depends on third-party services, our cancellation and refund policies are designed to be fair to both users and providers.

Activation Cancellations and Refunds

An Activation gives you access to a virtual number for exactly 20 minutes to receive unlimited codes from a single selected service.

  • 2-Minute Window: You can manually cancel a purchase 2 minutes after ordering. The cancellation button on your activation card will become active.
  • Automatic Refunds: If no SMS code is delivered within the 20-minute window, the funds are automatically returned to your OTPDesk balance.
  • No Refunds After Code Delivery: Once an OTP is received and displayed, the activation is marked as successful, and a refund is no longer possible.

Number Rental Cancellations

Rentals allow you to receive SMS from multiple services over an extended timeframe.

  • Cancellation Window: Just like activations, rentals can be canceled manually within the first 20 minutes of purchase.
  • Strict Policy: Refunds for rentals are only possible within that initial 20-minute window. After 20 minutes, rent refunds are impossible, regardless of whether a code was received or not.

Troubleshooting: What If No Code Is Delivered?

Failure to receive a code is often due to the target app blocking the IP address rather than a faulty number. Before requesting support, try these steps:

  1. Cancel the current number and try a new one.
  2. Use a high-quality residential Proxy or VPN. Ensure your IP location matches the country of the virtual number you purchased.
  3. Check our "Top 10 Countries by SMS Delivery Rate" and select high-performing regions.
  4. Use an anti-detect browser, or register via the official mobile application/emulator instead of a web browser (crucial for Telegram and WhatsApp).

Special Cases and Disputes

Occasionally, provider-side errors occur (e.g., the number already has an existing account on that platform or requires 2FA). In these cases, refunds can be processed via our technical support team.

If you face consistent issues, be prepared to provide video evidence of the registration process from the moment of purchase to help us resolve the dispute fairly.
